Meet Tyler Bowman
Added 2023-02-23 19:00:59 +0000 UTCI don't think I've ever gone this long without giving you guys some kind of update. Well, that changes today. I told you a couple weeks ago that I made the decision to stop writing as CJ, wanting to get a much needed fresh start.
Well, I'm happy to tell you that I will be writing under the pen name Tyler Bowman moving forward. The Tyler Bowman name will be focusing on sci-fi / space opera stories for the foreseeable future.
I've already created a Facebook page for the new name (something that I never did for CJ) and I'd like to invite all of you to join me on Facebook so you can stay updated with what I'm working on:

As of right now, I'm not sure if I will start a new Patreon for the new name. Still on the fence about that but I will let you know if that changes.
I also mentioned two weeks ago that this fresh start was coupled with the opportunity to partner up with an established author in the harem space. I've partnered up with Marcus Sloss, a veteran of many books and a damned good storyteller as well.
Into this partnership, we have created a much improved version of both My Four Girlfriends and Starfinder: Guardian of Vesta. Marcus' experience in this area has been invaluable to me, and a great deal of change has been made for the better.
The stories also have brand new names.
My Four Girlfriends will now be titled The Biopunk Revelation.
Starfinder: Guardian of Vesta will now be titled Colonist Soldier.
You're really not going to recognize the finished product from what you've read months ago, and I couldn't be more excited to see these launch. What's even cooler is that we've hooked up with Royal Guard Publishing to launch both an ebook and an audiobook version for both stories.
It's really going to be awesome!
The preorder for The Biopunk Revelation is already available and linked below. Release date is for March 3rd.
I'd be ecstatic if you pick up a copy of the new book and tell me what you think. Not to mention, Colonist Soldier will be coming right behind it.

My first reaction was pretty similar tbh. But I've learned that there's a lot of SEO that goes into the picking of the titles, mostly trying to target certain keywords. It's an area where I'm definitely out of my depth, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it pays off.

2023-02-24 01:17:32 +0000 UTCThe title changes have to grow on you, I think. They did for me, especially knowing the old titles and the attachment I had to them. I trust the intuition of my co-author, and I think everyone will like the changes that were made. It's definitely the start of a brand new venture, and I still have my spark and passion for writing just as much as before. I think if anything it's just been reinvigorated by this new beginning.

But at the same time if you're going to make such drastic changes I imagine that a different title makes sense. But I'm pretty interested to see The changes you've made.
