There is alot that goes into the project, alot of post production and some big days shooting.
Just a note on where the money goes, part goes to studio space hire. Props, costumes etc was already paid for by the writer, Mr Koreborger. The photographer is efficient as hell and doing alot of the production on the faith of some commercial viability in the future. But the biggest expenditure is on talent. Girls gotta get paid! We know you guys want smoking hot and a good variety of smoking hot girls to play evil soldier girls so that's going to cost.
On a another note, you would be surprised how much these gals love playing the role and how much fun they have on set, they run around taking selfies, pretending to shoot each other generally having a blast. They love the costumes, the sexy dark nature of the book and the fact they can play a miscellaneous disposable character in a sexy dark and pop violent way and remain anonymous.
Our stylist is quite the recruiter too (female) recruiting some models from unexpected places-
One was a waitress at a restaurant
One was working at a makeup counter in a department store
One was there with her friend and was asked to kit out and she did
the rest are recruited independent models or through agencies.
