Equipment should be fit for purpose each day with no wastage.
This combat unit was rapidly reconfigured from a PSU to Standard Combat Units Configured HAU unit without Heavy Weapons...basically a standard combat unit to be cycled in with standard squads in a hurry.
The situation would have warranted it, combat or re-enforcement.
The MK2 Combat Veil is the fitted, cloth veil which comes in two sizes, specifically cut and designed to fit the face and neck. A key part of the uniform dehumanizes the stock and removes identity...making their only identity Black Faction.
L1 QF (Quick Fit) Bodysuit is just that, a bodysuit that can be fitted or unfitted quickly. Originally intended for scuba ops, the bodysuit was chosen for HAU units due to the heat experienced in gas gear.
SBR is the Standard Barbituate Rifle which is now the staple for Black Faction forces. Most of the issues with the gun have been ironed out and 90 percent of them are fully functional.
AT GP boots are Anti Theft General purpose boots. The anti theft part means that enemy infiltrators cannot easily blend in with PSU units. The boots are made by Black Factions production lines.
SE or Standard Extraction Gloves are longer combat gloves intended for Azologoth extractions of Neon Dark.
MK3 Combat Belts are the new belts to replace older, worn out belts.
XBR holsters are left over holsters from Zuvic Supplied XBR's. They are fitted to combat units for weapon or ammo recovery or at times with side arms.
