Hello I am a black faction recruiter & have been asked to give our investors a run down of the standard combat unit from a recruitment perspective.
Every woman who Joins the company as a combat unit has to be trained to become a standard combat unit. The same implies what they are, standard.
To join they must meet the minimum standard fitness outlined in the recruitment guidelines. The pass selection they must run a 2km run in under 11 minutes without a stoppage. They are then required to pass a basic obstacle course where they are taken in.
We have a minimum age of 18 years old, with the bulk of our units being between the ages of 18 to 24.
We do not have a maximum age for recruits, if they can make the selection course, we will take them & with today's current anti aging technology we have many units who are well into their 40s and 50s.
From recruitment day one the units are rated, lower rated units are put off to less skilled type jobs.
From deployment they are rated also, where they can be cycled through different jobs.
Lower rated units are farmed off as sublet combat units for hire to 3rd party operators.
Generally we class standard combat units into 3 categories.
Short timers: girls who are in for one contract and one contract only, we attempt to get them to rejoin but they are usually never interested. We strongly recommend that commanders use them for the more dangerous tasks, reducing our overall costs when they are expended.
Professionals: girls who joined to see atleast two contracts through, they are generally more motivated during training and take their role seriously. We typically find they stay onboard in some kind of command role after they finish their contract.
Butterflies: girls who bounce between companies, they have usually started with CPD in the past, made it out alive and decided to join black faction as it seems like a safer option. Chances are they have taken a few of our girls out & know how to roll. They are great to have once installed with ORC and can provide great insight into CPD operations, however it is important to retain them after contract, promote them fast if they are capable. If they are not high performing then we ensure they are fed into a fire fight for consumption somewhere.
The data supports girls in their late 20s to early 30s with 2 or 3 contracts with the company tend to perform the best.
But this is not exactly conclusive as the nature of their role. A girl could be assigned to two quiet zones for 2 contracts, merely performing security tasks only for 8 years, with little to no combat.
Then on signing their 3rd contract at age 28, they are sent to one of the Hot zones, full of active Azologoth, hard battles with CPD over territory.
We see it quite a bit, they see their first Azologoth after years in the Zone, have no apprehension due to ORC and get themselves eaten.
We normally get the heads up for big missions where HQ approves a raid with multiple rotunda, Command requests supplementary units to support which we send from HQ Sectors. The Commanders who requested them then use the outside Rotundas to be the first in.
So again, I have seen it, we get hundreds of these long service Standards breaching enemy bases, only having some light skirmish experience, with the rest of it being mundane patrols running into hails of BDR rounds. I have to say its entertaining.
I do not feel guilty at all, we do make a point at signing they will go into combat, they will shoot down opposing company women for money and nothing else, we do get some who walk away, that happens, but every single one in the standard uniform signed their name on the dotted line, submitting their body for our use for 4 years.
