Their new operations commander - Liz has re consolidated the bulk of their standard forces into a single structured "hammer" on call for action against hard BFC assets aswell as conducting Azologoth patrols.
TempX units were introduced as a means to inflict a "death of a thousand cuts" strategic approach to beating back Black Factions influence in the zone.
The relationship is ideal for both TempX unit & CPD.
TempX gets paid per BFC unit eliminated aswell as receiving a payment for finding viable Azologoth.
Payment terms vary depending on the rank of unit eliminated, but it is a handsome and addictive amount. Better than signing up for years at a time.
TempX units are always elite level highly experienced former employees of Either CPD or even BFC. (the ones who survived the culling)
They are expert operators, they know tactics, patterns, and generally will aim to operate in an area of the zone that they were deployed to.
Sometimes they may find themselves taking out BFC units they fought beside.
All is about money and nothing else here, nothing personal.
TempX's have been highly active taking out sentries and other soft targets. Taking out a sentry is a easy pay day for them, and the more bodies they stack up the better the pay cheque.
Operating alone, off ORC, no Radio and no support sounds like being very vulnerable, but a silent, skilled assassin is more than capable of moving undetected as opposed to bored patrol units losing interest in what they are doing.
For the record, their time in field is limited, they have a proxy collar on under their mask, which if activated in the instance of going over time in field or capture by the enemy, will expend the unit.
This is to ensure loyalty to Caterina and also prevent the leaking of information.
