We had a great weekend shooting here & today was the final day. It was a public holiday in Australia so we split the days of shooting into three, just to save the workload etc.
No I dont think there is any one way to do these sorts of shoots but I have got a good system in to get the job done.
I always make sure Mathais gets at least 1 return girl in every shoot to help out the others.
As you can see we have alot of equipment, lighting, booms, stands, smoke machines plus all of the props costumes and sets.
So my job is to get the shot figured out, get the girls ready with the correct uniforms, workout the lighting and then run the girls through what they need to do.
I did military training a long time ago & also did a some close quarters protection work in my early 20s & believe it or not MMA before it was cool haha. But no I am useless trust me..
This helps with getting untrained, non actress models who are often just off the street with no experience.
The masks actually help one hell of a lot with reducing the need for facial expressions, therefor I only need to focus on the body.
So we had our Maxim Model Emma pull out today as she had an audition along with a couple of new girls who pulled the pin last minute, but we were rescued by Queen T who contacted two of her friends who are in the fetish community and perform burlesque etc so they were an absolute life saver.
