Communications spikes are essential in operating deep below the surface of Mallera-9, where signals can be blocked. The Communications spikes often become hot points of contention between the companies.
A communication spike in enemy hands can result in the loss of command control systems, often turning lower rank units against each other with ease, since their obedience system ORC is totally reliant on the command control network.
Operation Hyperion is the first initiative given by Mistress Serena to the two new Sector Commanders, their job is to establish communications spikes to enable Azologoth extraction operations deep below the surface.
