How Close Black Faction came to destruction at the Hands of Zuvic.

Recently intercepted documents indicate just how close Black Faction was to being driven into destruction by Zuvic.

The Zuvic assault units (Pictured above) were in vastly higher numbers on the doomed Zuvic facility than previously thought. 

Originally thought to number at around 6-800 assault units, Zuvic actually had over 10,000 assault units onboard. About 2000 combat ready & the other 8000 in various stages of training within the facility. 

Some of the combat ready units were deployed to combat when the fighting in the facility broke out however majority were not deployed as the fire fight was actually under control from a Zuvic perspective. 

Zuvic command was unaware that the goal of the Black Faction Forces was to bring the entire facility down, therefor no attempts were made to evacuate their forces. 

The original intent for the Zuvic assault units was to be distributed over large areas surrounding Black Faction operations to draw their forces out, cut them off & gradually thin them out. With superior field endurance, the Zuvic Assault units could facilitate heavy assaults directly on supply lines, patrols and even bases. 

During the Black Faction Assault the Assualt units were utilized in small numbers with supporting Zuvic Scouts to act as fodder for black faction fire. The Black Faction units were to put bluntly, smashed by the Assault units. 

But their goal was not to engage to win against the Assault units

Their goal was to engage with them to keep them busy, to keep them from escaping.

And many upon many Black Faction Mercenaries paid the bill with their lives to keep them from escaping. 

Not only did they pay by getting sprayed, having BDC rounds thud their bodies, finishing their careers as cold blooded mercenaries, but whoever did wasn't taken out ended up drowning/being buried alive in liquid earth. 

As for the 10,000 assault units

They were written off as lost stock for Zuvic. A cost she could easily absorb.
