Added 2019-12-23 13:36:09 +0000 UTCThe Base is operated by CPD forces, which is generally under resourced in most sectors. Within bases are some non combatant staff. The staffs roles are of technical natures and cannot be tasked out to "general" combat staff.
Facility management, stock & supply control along with power supply, staff allocations ect are all carried out by multi tasking technicians.
This particular technician is on a sector tour of all CPD bases in the area to check on water extraction & filtration systems. The other members of her team are in different parts of the facility conducting other systems checks.
The under cover agent is not of Black Faction origin but an independent contractor looking to obtain information to sell to Black Faction.
The maintenance cycle is of high value to Black Faction as attacking these teams routinely will not only disrupt the up keep of CPD facilities but reduce the number of skilled technicians.
