HAU vs Zuvic Elite - Breakdown

1. HAU Units.

Selected from Standard Stock they are generally physically suitable and more competent however if operationally required, any standard unit could be reconfigured to be a HAU. 

HAU units do not always carry their respiration gear, often wearing the basic cloth mask & operating as a standard unit clipped to a rotunda. 

Their primary role is to deploy heavy weapons against Azologoth, with the respiration gear allowing them to venture deeper.  

They are still considered expendable however less expendable than standards and sublets. 

2. Zuvic Elites 

Currently the only Zuvic units operating, selected from the finest stock who pass the grueling selection test, they are trained in stages. 

Stage 1 - is basic training lasting 8 weeks. priming their physical fitness, basic combat and general discipline. 

Stage 2- Base deployment plus advance modules - this is a 10 month period where the units are deployed to secret Zuvic Operational bases to act as guards and extra emergency units in case of attack. 

The advance models teach them advanced weapons, comms, vehicle operation, azologoth disabling and more. 

After the total 12 month training period is up, the units are passed out as functioning Zuvic combat units, with periodic refresher training. 

The Zuvic pay is over three times that of their Black Faction competitors, however the standard of entry is far higher, with black faction absorbing anyone who can run a mile & pass the basic cognitive test. 

The zuvic units wear an advance helmet which contains head up display, advance radio communications and a toxic filter that gives them almost unlimited range in terms of toxic environments. 

VS Each Other .

Zuvic units can operate very well in solo or small unit operations. often using surprise and advanced intel from command, they are generally a step ahead of the BFC and CPD units. Setting traps, distractions and being able to hide well has BFC units getting taken out by mysterious enemy. 

To black faction, in the eyes of the mistress, a unit should kill an enemy unit, deducting an asset from a competitor. She is also of the idea that an asset should be spent in the way of achieving the deduction. 

While experience in combat and tactics is important, it often leads to extended battle where self preservation goes above the mission. 

When Markets are high for Neon Dark, Billions of Credits can be on the line. 

That element needs to get out of that zone as fast as possible. 

The only way to get it fast is to flood the enemy with bodies, swarm, over run, saturate with young, obedient, uniformed servants.

They sting the enemy, dying in the process, to get the queens honey. 

Recovering bodies to be revived once sacrificed requires more resources that are more importantly directed at recovering Neon Dark. 

So the units expire, slowly but they can be revived for quite a few hours.

But once a unit catches a round, even under ORC, they do exhibit some apprehension in pushing hard towards objectives. 

When time is money , a unit hiding in cover to fight carefully inhibits the groups integrity when chasing the objective. 

With Zuvic, they are shot in training and revived to teach them about combat in the zone, to ready them. 

They are viewed by Kader Zuvic as valuable tools in gaining neon Dark in the Zone

Kader sees that the more combat experience they have the more damage they can inflict on the enemy. 

After each time they are hit they are given a large bonus, similar to a kill bonus. provided they are recovered.
