Chamber Guard

Generally if the threat to high command or staff is imminent, and standard forces have been wiped out then the chamber guards are merely there to sacrifice themselves to cover the escape of the high value staff member.
They are there as a kind of - reassurance in the command units or management staffs personal quarters.
Have standard units standing around with combat gear on tends to give a bit of anxiety or feels slightly threatening.
So the chamber guards uniform has been selected for command units to feel as though they are there to be a ornament, well groomed, with the sense of relaxation almost as though they are on holidays.
They remain present in all rooms of important staff. They hear everything & see everything and therefor become something to be "silenced" in the course of duty.
Punishment is frequent and they do brunt the frustrations of their superiors often.
But when the time comes for them to swing into action, chamber guards throw themselves into the heat of battle with one thought and one thought only.
"take as many of them with me"
Because any force that chews through ranks of sublets, standards, HAUs, Elites and Even ZoneX (wait for the big reveal) is going to obliterate a handful of chamber guards. So surviving anything is not on the cards for these ladies.
