Black Faction refused to pay their invoice, demanded that Star Corp return the down payment and collect all of their units they had deployed.
Star Corp never responded, their units still active & armed, with no command and not ready to be absorbed into Black Faction.
The threat also being they had knowledge of black factions operations at that point & the sound decision was made to liquidate them.
