Added 2021-09-01 12:58:18 +0000 UTCAfter 12 years of service, lots of skirms, plenty of danger, its time for her to hang up the boots, cash in the cheque and return to the normal world. A comfortable existence awaits her perhaps, or travel, but there is enough there for a very comfortable life.
Her ORC was removed, she reports to her commander for disposal from the ranks but her time is not quite up.
WIth much of the sector at the ready, she has this combat unit respond to an alarm

Totally agree and the long battle series as well which set the whole universe up. I feel one is long overdue, ;-)

BTW, love the story and the fact you let us on the cliff, "did she manage to survive or not ?" When you read the "New Year Forecast", it seems 1 129 Units managed to finish their contract (and I imagine they return to civil life ? ... with their jackpot ?) Well, feel free to share more of "mini stories" hidden in drawers !
