A guide for alliance contractors
Added 2020-09-15 14:37:43 +0000 UTCA larger & Larger number of contractors are moving into the zone to work for the alliance. KTS, Zuvic, CPD, Service Capital & Star Corp all use contractors for a range of tasks.
Repair & installations, maintenance, transport, technical support, systems management, process development, accountants, analysts the list goes on and on.
While they are safe when in secured areas they do go into other places outside of the security blanket.
They are armed themselves but are not trained combatants.
Other than Azologoth, their main threat is Black Faction.
Contractors do know about Black Faction & that there is extreme hostility but the notion of continuous market fed proxy war is not fully grasped by most contractors.
Following Black Faction slaughtering a group of 12 contractors in the previous months it was found that they did in fact have sufficient time to leave the area, however they did not believe that the Black Faction units would open fire on them so fast like they did.
Going forward Contractors must read this short document & attend a briefing there they view combat footage.
With all of the Alliance combat forces actively engaged or guarding, there is little wiggle room for security deployment for a contractor & the contractor themselves cannot afford to purchase their own security.
Since the rolling out of the information pack, several instances of contractors taking out Black Faction combat units has happened. however, they all have been killed themselves as a result.
