She will personally deliver it to the Mistress, although no one can know of its location.....
Originally codenamed SUGAR (Super-Conductive Ultra Gamma Alternating Receiver) used to generate spikes from the Rift. The device was designed by Zuvic Tech on request from Black Faction.
Delivery never took place due to the events surrounding the Zuvic incursion & the device hit the Black Market, eventually finding its way into the hands of CPD, where it was taken by an infiltrator unit who then sold it to Ayla, where its whereabouts became unknown.
Unstable & highly volatile, SUGAR has a tendency to disintegrate nearby bio matter, sucking it into the rift, humans included, which explains it changing hands so often.
This time it will be firmly in the hands of the Mistress, the Sector base facility Vanessa presided will come under a massive assault by CPD to try to get the Case back to Caterina.
The Case and Vanessa must escape & all of the facilities occupants must perish to keep the location of the Case a closely guarded secret.
