Chamber Guard to PSU - Application Assessment
Added 2021-02-28 10:05:42 +0000 UTCSince changing from Chamber guards to PSU Black Faction has stamped out alot of underhand dealings amongst command units.
However current events still reveal that corruption is rife in the higher ranks.
Money drives the company and much of the behaviour is influenced by that.
The Chamber Guards still exist, but are used in certain applications.
The PSU however is paid for by the commander requiring, therefor paying for their own personal security or person to carry out their business.
They can sacrifice a PSU all they want without repercussions, the unit is for the commanders disposal.
Standard Combat Units, squads, Clips, Rotundas are for the Companies disposal at the commanders discretion.
A Standard squad cannot meet to pick up personal goods for a commander (alcohol, drugs etc)
Standard Combat Squad can be sacrificed in pursuit of profit. Expenditure in the course of obtaining monetary gain. This is fine by the company, fine by Vanessa and fine by the Mistress.
A if a standard squad were to be wiped out by an ambush obtaining Vanessa's favourite Cuban Rum, then its a bad look for her in the eyes of the rest of the company.
If Vanessa paid for 2 squads of PSU's, sent them to get her beloved Rum & a whole squad got wiped out...then others look at it as though she spent her hard earned money and sacrificed her own PSU's to get what she wanted.
The lives of the PSU's really don't matter to anyone really.
As for Chamber guards, they are there to ensure integrity of the command structure now, and that is it. They will be the last line of defence, or defend against enemy intruders to protect the company assets.
Mainly sensitive individuals, equipment or documents.
No longer are they pinned to the command they are assigned, they are given standing orders which can only be changed by the highest tiers of command.
