Powerful women, aesthetics and the darker aspect of 21st century human culture (not entirely 21st century exclusive) create something decently addictive.
Watching a young powerful woman in the form of Vanessa control hoards upon hoards of other powerful women in a corporate structure, sacrificing them like they're nothing because the system permits it is quite fascinating.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely
Idealogical pathways are paved with good intentions but lead to wear the paver lay them.
To zoom into a single combat unit amongst this is another fascinating exploration.
Cohesive control and behavioural rationalisation is another strange concept.

2022-08-09 23:23:49 +0000 UTCI did watch it, and got a feeling of deja vu…it’s a reframing and extension of Milgram’s experiment from the 1960s. That, and the Stasi’s Zersetzung program, showed that there are few limits to what you can achieve if you can gain control of a person’s belief system. Chilling.
