Asset liquidators or AL Units come from a broader strategic approach agreed on by the alliance.

Normal operations see immediate gains being prioritised over anything else. The immediate gain being the extraction of Neon Dark.

Black Faction embarks on broader strategic plans, however these are focused around brut force.

The goal of the Alliance is to feed in AL units to dispose of enemy assets during times of opportunity.

AL units will not be dispatched solo or to meet a specific goal, they are deployed to attack vulnerable positions during operations.

The only purpose for the AL unit is to eliminate/liquidate Black Faction Combat Stock.

They are heavily armed, extremely proficient, supported with a tactical heads up display in helmet and most importantly of all - deployed with Apex serum.

They're offered incentives for enemy units taken out.

Operationally they are not necessary as a single or even a handful of AL units cannot take and hold a facility.

However they can have drastic impacts on BFC unit numbers at any site.

No AL unit has been expended so far, with some racking up to 50 eliminations in a single mission.

At this point in time, BFC is not concerned about the heavy losses at some sites.

But the long game is, continued thinning out of BFC assets over a period of months and years to eventually tip the numbers balance more in favor of the alliance.

So what does this mean for the Black Faction Combat Units?

Well they would firstly want to hope they don't come across a AL unit, because that is certain expenditure.

The feeling of going up against the CPD units, taking some out and having some of your own taken out is normal and accepted but them. The risk and reward is there.

However the direness of watching a single, superior unit rip through your fellow combatants like paper, waiting your turn must be something else for them. Especially when they know its a completely hopeless waste even standing against it.
