Possessed by and controlled by the Mistress Directly, she has built up the ranks steadily for the past 2 years.
Plucking well performing Standard Combat Units from the Corporate ranks of the business
They vetted by their level if dedication to The Mistress
The MIstress is a shadowy figure herself, revealing herself only to her closest confidants.
The units who were successfully inducted were given a face to face (in groups of 100 plus) welcome by the Mistress, who then presented a very selling oriented pitch for her vision, why they were selected and why they will be important.
The units are removed from ORC and given extensive training.
Their service terms are cancelled, but they are bound by each other. Units who desert or show cowardice are to be eliminated by their fellow units.
But that is not needed. They are there for the promise of un-interrupted adrenalin thanks to no ORC and the Promise of acknowledgement upon their ultimate sacrifice by the Mistress herself.
So what do they do?
They are the Mistresses personal army, the ones to Maintain order within the Company.
The broader Company are typically made up of desperate women after a quick buck, they ofcourse are expected to die for her and the company.
Some of them are happy to, but all of the Shadow Sector wants to.

Damned Patreon ! It has lost my comment about this post ...Grrrr, I had developped my opinion about your latest "Shadow Sector - Auxiliary Unit" .. Well, in case of some are interested, talked about my mixed reviews at first on new uniform but after thinking, it is brilliant idea ! Shadow army could not be as tinsel than SCU who are kind of banners of the mistress's power ! So, no shiny uniform, no clicking high heels for unpracticable uniform but flat combat boots and military outfit ... I would love to imagine this fanatical units almost dehumanized with their vocal cords modified by an techno implant which prevent them to talk in case of (very rare) being captured ! Addicted to arenaline, I could imagine their body filled by mysterious drug which transform their corpse in sand in the rare case of expenditure (and which prevent other factions to discover their existence !) (If interested , look for the Ninja organisation called "The hand" in Daredevil) Well, cant wait to see this powerfull Units executing dark orders from Mistress at the expense of SCU ! Very bad time for Standards !
