2024-11-12 15:59:03 +0000 UTCI was Signal back then but our Brigade Commander's policy was that everyone was Infantry first so we had to do all kinds of wild stuff...even Cooks and Mechanics had to "qualify" as Infantry...took a few months but I eventually came around...as for running, my first PT uniform was trousers, t-shirt and boots...running got a little easier when they allowed tennis shoes...you stick with it though...getting out of shape kinda s*cks...
