Combat Unit Returns after long Hiatus

What do you make of a combat unit who has been away from the zone for a number of years, whom returns out of desperation for money.
Completing 2 consecutive contracts in the early days of the "anarcho capitalist' forever war, followed by a third to top up her balance.
Living a comfortable modest life, owning an apartment in a safe major city outright, all she needs to do is hold down a regular job.
But she can't. She can't get up every day and make her way to an office, sit there tapping away at a keyboard, attend meeting after meeting.
Institutionalised to the point that she struggles even with the most basic of tasks.
Why work the rest of her life in some block when she can just do another 4 years for the Mistress, get one hell of a pay cheque and come back to live out her days travelling, partying and all of the good stuff.
Plus she really wants the thrill of the kill again. Over those 3 contracts she nailed 3 enemy combatants solo, but shared in dozens.
She cant get that job satisfaction from being in an office.
Sending rounds into the bodies of CPD units dropping them permanently had a certain thrill for her.
So desperate for money, wanting some trigger time and some kills she joined back up.
But, this isn't like the Pre-Zuvic low intensity skirms of old.
She walked right into combat that is growing in insanity every single day.

2022-06-16 23:18:29 +0000 UTCSure, lucky Standards who managed to survive to 4 years or more contracts can't return easily to "normal life" ... Brain scrambled by too many years under ORC ... Sure it is the more vicious device introduced by Mistress !
