This is what the Mistress is calling it.
Expending has a benefit to it. This is deleting her old stock. Or so as she sees it.
Her and her thinkers constantly seek ways to "dehumanize" and rationalise their employees.
The employees are no angles either. Hired killers.
But the companies view on them is warped.
Sacrificing them for money, well its BAU. Normal.
But protecting their "position" in the Zone, well its muddy.
To ensure that this "stock" is deleted is to ensure a smaller pool of
A. Combat Trained women who could serve another threat to Black Faction
B. Combat Trained women who know particular detail of Black Faction.
The Mistress knows none of her "standards" will be capable of setting out on their own like a band of pirates to threaten her.
Her main concern is...........what was hers to sacrifice for her own gain should not become someone elses thing to sacrifice for someone elses gain.
They're meeting their demise wearing black no matter what.
So in this engagement, the first three dropped really thought they had a chance here. Dispatched with some accurate and heavy fire.
The second three "deletions" really thought their squad was going to get the upper hand before getting dropped.
The The third group of 4 to get wiped off the roster knew this was the tipping point. With some trying to stay up, refusing that this was their turn to be deleted.
The last one knew for sure its over.
