During the early years of the Privateer era women wishing to enter the Zone and gain their fortunes could hire Sublets From Black Faction. They could also spend much more money and hire a very Elite KTS unit.

KTS Units are very expensive but far more effective. Often, they would just prefer the cheaper option and have a multitude of bodies on hand.

Larger jobs involving a Rotunda or more for longer than a month Black Faction would normally provide a Command Unit.

A job extended for longer than 6 Months and this particular Command Unt spent the entire length with her Rotunda.

They spent much of the time on the surface to the point ORC had ceased functioning.

Discipline became an issue amongst the sublets and she had to resort to harsh punishment to keep the units in line.

Every request for resupply was rejected and up until the very end of the job she had the same 42 Sublets.

Their daily routine was maintained, their grooming, fitness, discipline was maintained to a high standard and they stayed an effective fighting force.

Until the KTS Contractor arrived.

The client of KTS wanted the client Black Faction eliminated.

The only way through was cutting through the Sublets.

The KTS Contractor cut through the outer patrol units, then the static before reaching the response squad and filling their bodies with BDR rounds.

By the time the commander had mobilised the rest of the rotunda 18 of her units were expended and the client had been taken out.

Returning alive after failing a mission is extremely shameful.

Especially for a command unit.
