You're a purple wearing independent just doing your thing, safely far away from Black Faction, Caterina and V-Corp.

The others drift in and out but they don't seek to rule anyone.

Marauders are about but you give them a little something and they leave you alone.

You specialise in electrical work. Radios, devices, aircon, ovens, everything breaks and everything needs to be installed.

A compressor went on a fridge in somebodies little base of operations. You're doing the repair and need to head to the hub where the transports come in.

its an old turn junction, independent transporters bring in consignment cargo in crates.

How it works? You order something and pay a transport fee, it goes in the crate owned by someone who has space on the craft.

Everything comes in this way, food weapons and people. There are a few flights per day.

People come in on ZT-90s and cargo on one of the few non BFC "Mooses" in the zone.

This day you get to the hub and its sprinkled with Black Faction units, not just any, they have berets, tactical gear, headsets.

You walk in and try to get by them. A blonde one stops you "ID now"

You respond "what for? This is not Black Faction territory"

The Blonde gets nastier "It's not, but this Port is now under the Mistresses Charter, so give me your ID".

You reluctantly produce your ID

Blonde takes it not breaking eye contact "Credit ID Card too"

"Wait what the fuck"

The blonde grasps your neck with her had wrapped her tactical glove, you can feel the tough leather stiches scratching the skin on your neck, her nails biting in and she squeezes.

"If you fuck me around Ill cuff you and send you to our holding facility back at HQ, now give me your Credit ID"

She lets go and you hand it over. The intimidation is working.

"Under the Mistresses Charter goods inbound & outbound incur inspection, inspection fee and taxes".
