Starcorp offers their services still to Black Faction. In the outer the haven't had the opportunity yet to make a splash.

They're not quite a faction so much as a supplier of bodies.

At any one time they can rapidly deploy dozens up to hundreds of Units and with enough notice even thousands.

Their general effectiveness is questionable however an armed unit at a location is still an armed unit at that location.

They do have elite ranks, crack troops capable of delivering extreme hammer blows to any target.

They're even a solid match for KTS or Zuvic.

Their newly formed Starcorp Commando Mercs were the brainchild of a sales rep who seen potential in expanding into Outer Region operations.

Occupation forces in the form of Patrol Units (Thugs) with support from Special config Standard Combat Units has managed to wrangle and shake up the inhabitants of the Outer region.

But the continued devastation from Marauders has warranted a heavier response.

The scourge of distance, albeit not great distances by Non Mallera-9 standards - 20km, doesn't allow for frequent trips by transports such as ZT-90s due to limited charging range.

Walking that far through tunnels is a guarantee to lose 90% of your units and forget walking on the surface.

The larger transports and associated infrastructure are all tied up in operations in and around operational sectors.

The outer is the outer for a reason and will be very difficult to make it anything but.

For the Patrol Units and SCUs there, help is always very far away.

Starcorp has seized the opportunity and set up an outpost to supply Black Faction with fresh bodies as well as paid tactical strike groups.

But will it go well for them?
