Long Waits Between Skirms
Added 2025-06-11 12:59:14 +0000 UTCSkirming is not a daily, weekly or monthly occurrence. A combatant can go very long periods without so much as seeing an enemy unit, let alone firing their weapon for the company.
In The Outer the units are generally off the regular cyclic tasking schedule where they move from Standby, to Static, to Patrol and onto periodic training.
To keep the Units occupied, in check, motivated and combat ready they undergo ad-hoc training supplied in manuals or conducted by command units atleast a few times per week.
The Units start to add their own training enhancements to achieve better outcomes. Things geared towards weapons handling accuracy, manoeuvre tactics, physical fitness all play into the SCU's in the outer increasing in capability.
Having such an effective and dedicated fighting force is something the Mistress takes for granted.
