I have never felt like this
Added 2024-06-14 06:09:07 +0000 UTCI left Mallera-9 for a short break, 6 months exactly to do some travelling and catch up on life before coming back. I always intended to do a 2nd contract it was never not a thing for me.
So I come back and they test my physically and all that and I pass no sweat.
They put me straight back into an Op Sector, Outpost 8 to be exact and the place is going to hell.
I have no ORC yet because they are short. In fact they are putting so many through they cant keep up with demand.
So I am going through all this Raw.
We have a weapon shortage too.
I was a Standard during the swap over from SBRs to ABRs and turns out they never made enough.
So when we're on Standby we go out in small teams to locations of previous skirms looking for left over weapons.
We haven't had enough spare units to collect equipment so we're doing it.
We used to have so much stuff. We're being told now to conserve everything.
The worst though are the skirms. We used to dominate through numbers.
That's how we win. But now, V-Corp is matching our numbers when we clash.
We dropped onto an area that they were holding thinking there was only 12 or so units there.
Rotunda should have been enough for that but nope, there was easily 80 or 90 units nearby.
We were just overwhelmed by them and they come at you hard.
No cover, just throwing themselves at us.
Comm couldn't spare another Rotunda to even it out so they pulled us out.
I have never withdrawn from anything ever!
We're supposed to stand and fight! Now we're running to save ourselves?
I have never felt like this before.
I think Black Faction is going down.
I just hope I'm in for the last stand,
