how were they supposed to know?

Was such a waste with hind sight the infighting and the waste of the undead army. Should have been focussed on defending against these monsters

No domes have been opened and none were supposed to be opened until after the 9th and final iterations joined its in the announcement when they force open the dome as well as elsewhere earlier

Zenker was not ready it's still 18+years until they where auposed to open. They could wait another 10 years then open one every 6 months. Also there was no guarantee that opening one doesn't star an chain reaction. Why take chances when you dont have to. Also as the immortal parents noted they belived they had all the time they would need so no point rushing.

Honestly, now that I think about lifting the dome wasn't as bad as I thought initially. I mean lifting it and opening a portal into the heart of civilization and killing the strongest people was a bad idea. But I think they should have opened a dome at some point just to see how strong the inside forces were so when the rest of the domes fell, they could have some kind of plan in place since they knew more about what they were facing. Also, if they were able to defeat the dome in a certain amount of time, then they could open another dome, one at a time, so by the time the Domes have to fall, their are less of them. Imagine opening the dome and being prepared for it with the undead and army and the Hive, they could handle the smaller monsters while People like Zenker and Yirrel deal with the big guys.

Pretty sure Ryun already has the required inspiration for evolved. He completed his Ideal internally since he became immortal. I think he’s just cycling right now since every cycle grows his core by 5 percent and every level he gets stronger will take more essence to complete a cycle.

Thanks for the chapter. So much goodness. Im very impressed that Zenker is still alive. Soloing Haster is something i didnt think he could do. Yes it doesnt look like he will win. But the fact that he is close is very impressive. Damn that EH perk is strong. It does make sense that with Ryun and Selia both being much stronger than when Ryun and Melody used it. That it would gain in power. With the amount of essence that Ryun is gaining, if he does survive this fight he will ay least be at peak immortal. Maybe even enter the evolved realm.
