When Eratemus handed out the mind protection formations, I already thought it would be a bit too easy, if these could protect them from Hastur's mental attacks. After all, Zenker had a tier 9 skill for mind protection, a mind protection ring (which was probably tier 9 or at least tier 8), and a great amount of natural willpower of his own. Despite that, he was still influenced by the mental assaults and slowly overcome by it. Though, I did not expect that they got defeated and captured so completely. It's also a good contrast to chapter 293, in which Ryun still thought that nothing in the world can break him and Zach, and that he wants to gain a new great feat title now. Looking forward to the next chapters and speculating what could happen. How much time has passed and is the empire still there? Did they even fought against Hastur, because it seems Hastur didn't know about Eternal Hunter, which could mean they were all immediately defeated after they arrived. Erik being turned into a Taken and attacking the Ornn wall could be awesome development. Karya is forced to kill him. How will they escape the mental prison. Zach with his perk is the most obvious option. But even then, they will be weaker than before and still cannot kill Hastur.
