Piccolo has also turned into giant mode against Garlic Jr's Return, the fight when it's he, krillin, and gohan; basically it's the arc between the frieza and future trunks arcs. But anyway yeah that's I believe the only time in Z he does it. If he does it against 2nd form frieza then that would make sense how they were the same height when standing toe to toe
