Should there be animations?

On the subject of animations.
For those who have been with me for a while, you'll remember that I've asked this question before. Should there be animations ingame? I'm just polling to see if people's opinion on it have changed.
Before voting, keep a few things in mind:
- One: Animations are expensive. For every one animation, I could get two or three CGs done.
- Two: Animations take time. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to make an animation. Combined with the cost, it means that there will be mini content droughts due to lack of resources.
On the other hand. Animations do look very nice. So the question is... what's your personal preference?

Animations usually suck ass so im kinda scared. but then again paprika trainer's animations were pretty good.

2022-07-17 02:43:17 +0000 UTCI would say for a compromise that could be done, one animated scene per character that best captures that character and that seems more specific to there personality.
