Aemon would have been conceived some time in the next month or two probably (likely in or around the events of the tournament celebrating the opening of the dragon pit) as he was born in 55AC, and we're at the very beginning of the year. Canonically, his birthday isn't told, but it seems likely to me at least that with the tournament and such giving them (Jaehaerys and Alysanne) more time together with wine, fun, and fewer direct duties and more celebration, that's the most likely time that he came about. So... got spawn killed, I'm afraid. That or you could say he hasn't "dropped" yet, since that egg hasn't departed Alysanne's body. You hate to see it. ...it's almost like it was intentional, you know?

2025-08-19 08:45:43 +0000 UTCPeake (presence despite injury), Swann (overly long report while Jae drank) and Dondarrion (caught a 'pacifistic' Borys) all have a tinge of suspicious activity, but accompanying excuses... I'm not at all savvy enough to figure out this intrigue. Ack, I'll have to do a proper case study later of the dialogue. For now I'll say Swann. No wait, Peake. Bloody Peake, must be the poison seed of future bloody Peakes lol. Also, is Aemon born yet/soon or was he butterflied away?

2025-08-19 08:39:29 +0000 UTCJae fighting Borys is completely canon. Borys's opening line is ripped straight from the source material, even! But this Dornish war didn't happen in canon for five years, when Robert reported to Jaehaerys (under the almost same conditions) that there were a lot of bandits successfully attacking his people all over, coming from Dornish lands. In canon, Jaehaerys fought, and summarily cut Borys's throat in short order. Rogar killed the Vulture King in trial by combat shortly after. Here, as you can tell, something changed. One would assume Aerea's survival, but more specifically, if you go back and read the dialogue and think and study events closely, it will all begin to make sense.

Obviously it’s done but why? What made him take this risk? Obviously treachery played a hand but still. I don’t know if anyone will know cause of the brutal death but damn mate
