Oh man, where do I even start. I don't wanna lie, the last two months have been pretty rough for me.
Bad news first:
-I spent most of December pretty sick (not covid thankfully), and somehow lots of other work and contacts fell on me all at once unexpectedly. I really hope I'm not sick next month, too :/ Still got 21 pages of FTS finished for you!
-Hm. I don't know when I'll get to see my wife again. Thanks to Romanian politics they've made it basically impossible for Franc to come see me. I'm at a loss here and don't wanna type too much or I'll start crying IRL haha. It's been almost 3 years since we've seen each other in person; there's been enough crying.
-I might need to take time off from FTS next month if my sickness continues. I have a lot of doctor appointments lined up and I don't know how they'll go.
Cool news now:
-Me and my wife pitched the "Untitled Monster Project" graphic novel to an agent, who is interested! Maybe next year we'll have a publishing deal!
-Also, I'll be doing a digital painting course for Graphixly, since they liked my worldbuilding seminar so much.
-I'm also now part of both the Patreon Ambassador Program and the Tapas Creator Bonus Program-- okay seeing it written out all like that makes me realize how crazy my month has been.
Thank you everyone for your support this year. I don't think we have to lie to ourselves, it's been awful. Stressful, scary, and really just a yawning void that's made the future dark and unknowable. I don't think I can predict next month, let alone a year or five years from now. It's all nebulous; no one has answers. We can just keep living until we're out of the tunnel.
I really, really appreciate your support. Onto 2022 now.
