Make a list of five reasons someone might say yes to something (sexual, kinky, an unwanted work assignment, or something else) that isn't truly consensual (e.g., saying yes to avoid conflict, because they’re scared, because they’re supposed to want it, etc.). For each one, list what would have to change for that yes to become a real yes.
Practice:
Next time someone else says yes to you, pause. If appropriate, ask: “Are you sure that’s a yes you want to give?”
