2023-11-04 07:53:37 +0000 UTCThis is correct, like how a boxer or Muay Thai fighter blocks blows they can't dodge by tensing up, that natural armour that's been trained over years and years of repeated blows. Sure it's an axe swung by a very powerful demon, but stark was trained by the Hero Party's Warrior. Linie is probably insanely powerful against normal adventurers, but just can't generate anywhere near the force as Eisen.

Linie could've won had she ACTUALLY DECAPITATED HER OPPONENT WHEN HE WAS DOWN AND OUT. I love when villains are just stupid for the heroes to win bruh lmao ...Yes, I'm mad about Linie, i like twintails.

2023-11-04 00:44:58 +0000 UTCI was so hyped for this, being our first serious fight scene, but I didn't expect the animators to go that hard. It makes me so happy to see Frieren getting a top-tier adaptation like this, it really does deserve it. Every piece of animation from Stark putting on his jacket to the fight itself is filled with so many beautiful details. And that music, holy shit the OST for this show is going to be such a treat to listen to once it's fully released. This is all giving me the exact same level of satisfaction that the Chainsaw Man adaptation gave, where I get to watch a manga I've loved for years get animated by a team that CLEARLY loves it just as much as I do. So much effort is being put into every scene. Next week though, now that's going to be even more fun to see reactions too.
