2023-11-19 04:55:20 +0000 UTCI love how this show portrays Frieren's slowly changing relationship with the religion of this world. She already knew a lot about it, but over the months with Kraft you can tell something has changed a bit. Aside from her eventually joining in their prayers when she wasn't at first, she also directly asks Kraft about his faith and reflects on her past discussions with Heiter. She's not religious yet, but it definitely gives the feeling that she's beginning to appreciate why someone might be. All the more so when she can relate to Kraft's desire not to be forgotten. The biggest turning point here is that Frieren now seems to believe that heaven exists. Before she thought it was merely fantasy or something, but she was trusting her master's words and set out on this journey. Now she actively believes that not only does it exist, but Heiter is there and she will see him again.
