also if you remember ep 9 and 10 as she was fighting aura and the knights she noticed a few people not cause of the face duh but the necklaces they prob met frieren as a kids or since both humans and frieren want the demons gone she met them in past battles and remembered them from the necklaces and and its even more why she didn't go flashy with the spell. it goes back to what kraft said all the people who knew him or of him have died. all those soldiers were like yeah we love frieren she wants the demons extinct and probably saved a few of them from death.
