2024-01-07 07:58:30 +0000 UTCLeading up to this a lot of the general concensus was that the adaptation would live or die by the animation and whether it succeeded in bringing the art of the manhwa to life. Only one episode in, but I'd say I have no lack of confidence in the amount of effort being put into the animation. That said, I just don't understand any of the decisions being made in terms of pacing at all. I'm still very excited and I'll be there watching with you guys next week. But... I'll just say it's been a long time since I've had my expectations tempered this much so quickly.
