2024-02-15 15:01:22 +0000 UTCSo fun fact: The part where she turns to dust, is actually a reference to a very early Miyazaki Hayao movie (before he actually founded Studio Ghibli), called "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind." It's a post apocalyptic movie with giant bugs and toxic spores. The spores in the scene here is a reference to those spores, and the little lalala song is a variation of a recurring song in the Miyazaki movie. As someone who grew up with Miyazaki movies, the scene in this episode had me laughing so hard the first time I saw it. XD (Though it's definitely still hilarious even without understanding the reference, cuz Bocchi being Bocchi)
