2024-03-03 06:34:54 +0000 UTCSo just to clear things up a little, Fuuko isn't changing Andy's real past (or history), she's experiencing Andy's past along side him inside the book, so for Andy, he's now experiencing a past if he had met Fuuko years ago instead of just in Japan in 2020

It's the same town that they fight Spoil in, in the future -Howl's Moving Castle actually was the first to do what AOT did. Where a character ends up in the past and actually effects the future. It's actually a weirdly common plot concept in anime. This scene looks like it was definitely inspired by the Howl's Moving Castle scene. Would definitely suggest watching that movie if you guys haven't watched it.
