I believe Akane fully explained it out more in the manga, but either way it's obvious the plan is to have the full reveal in the next episode along with the other stuff we're about to get. This next episode should be pretty crazy.

2024-09-20 02:15:51 +0000 UTCGod Akane's realization is SO powerful in this adaptation. I remember the hype for that chapter when it was released and they nailed the intensity. Just the imagery is so powerful. To then cap it all off with their father finally being revealed. This was a flawless episode. I forgot just how peak this entire stretch of Oshi no Ko is. Everything from the play to the trip they're about to take is some of the very best writing in the entire series. Edit: Also, their father just showed up carrying a bouquet IDENTICAL to the one that Ai's murderer hid the knife in. The same color of flowers. That's a fun little detail, lol
