I agree that the original is more consistent and grounded (even with Hanyuu and the time loop stuff). The violence and blood in the OG also isn't overkill and can be taken seriously lol. The OG even has all the main cast participate in reaching the happy ending.. unlike Sotsu where the others pretty much do nothing and just watch the random asfk dragon ball fight 😂😂

2022-05-06 15:02:39 +0000 UTCI would say original 2006 higurashi story wise was more consistent, you got to see a world where Rena was like 49 years old. The brutality was more realistic looking, there were no filters. You actually see rena beat the purple hair girl face in and they show it😶.

In the original 2006 series Rikka was the only looper throughout the series.There was interactions that was in the old that the new one didn't have like Satokos uncle sidekick was the purple haired girl that was dating Renas dad. And you actually get the storie of the syndrum and Rikkas relationship with the guy when they met I' Gou he instantly blew up the building.
