2025-04-21 23:01:19 +0000 UTCSherm, to answer your question "when was this" in regard to Bonnie and Akainu on the burning island: it was right after the marineford arc and either soon before or soon after the two-year timeskip. She was caught by Blackbeard who left her there to run away from Akainu and give him different bait. Something the fans had been asking themselves was why Akainu let her go. One thing that was surprising for me is how both Akainu and Kizaru seemed willing to cut her some slack (even though Kizaru kicked her into the sky-ceiling). Especially with Akainu because he's a massive pirate hater who was relentless about killing Ace and Luffy during marineford simply because of who their fathers were (+potential future threat of course).
