So she gave Buffy a ride in Helpless - after befriending Buffy for over a year, she allowed Buffy to be in her car for 10 minutes. Someone tell the Vatican to ready Cordy's sainthood...🙄

2022-12-11 19:35:04 +0000 UTCI disagree with your assessment of early Cordelia. I believe she was always this person, even back in the early seasons of Buffy. She had put up a front of the popular mean girl, but whenever it really mattered she helped. In Helpless when Buffy asked Cordelia to drive her home, she just said "okay." No backtalk, no quips. Other times she complained for sure, but she would still always help out. One thing I don't like is the scene where Cordelia hears Angel talk to the Powers, and immediately changes her mind. I'm guessing a lot of people like that bit, but to me it grates - both Angel saying it and Cordelia's reaction. Other than that though, great episode.
