2018-02-04 14:22:30 +0000 UTCHey this is good and I liked it a lot. I was nervous going in because I’ve had to unsub from some tubers for their very very bad “feminism killing Star Wars” takes. I like the way you approached it, and some of your points got me thinking. Small random point, I agree with light sabers being unwieldy again. Lucas talked about broadswords and weight, but I always felt like the sheer vibrating power of turning one on is what makes it hard to control. Like a 1950s electric hair clipper that make your hand numb from the buzzing, and only a force user could control it enough to make it anything than an encumbrance. The prequels made them seem more like fencing rapiers that you can swish around with precision like Zorro.
