2020-06-12 18:30:45 +0000 UTCI just realized that there's a very similar episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark" that likely drew inspiration from the same source. Though in that case, it was a demon-haunted camera, defeated when it took a picture of itself. Haven't thought of that one in ages...

2020-06-12 17:05:50 +0000 UTCI remember this book fondly, when I was in year two, all the year threes clamoured around the Goosebumps shelf in the school library to pick one out. Trying to look cool, I gravitated to the cover of this story but the deputy head stopped me taking it out and sat me down to read out the first page to prove I was capable of not only reading but handling the subject matter.

The book had me in tears, the episode wasn’t perfect but not terrible...however, comparing this book to the 2015 film might be more insightful. Just a thought
