Mission: Impossible Movie REACTION!! (full watch-a-long)

We watched Mission: Impossible on Paramount+

This is a watch-a-long so you do need to bring your own copy of the episode to see it, there is no PIP or show audio. There is a visual cue off the top, a countdown to start and a timer to help you sync up.

Mission: Impossible Movie REACTION!! (full watch-a-long)

I must have seen Mission Impossible two or three times, but that was years ago so I didn't remember 97% of the movie. I knew Emilio died in the movie and Jon Voight being the villain, but not much of everything else. Of course I do remember the iconic Ethan Hunt hanging an inch from the ground scene. There were a lot of parodies of that scene at the time. I also know the helicopter exploding and Tom Cruise flying toward the subway train. It was in the commercials of the movie. I never saw MI2, but I did watch Metallica's "I disappear" music video that showed scenes of the movie in the music video. I watched MI3 once in theaters. I rewatched Ghost Protocol the other day after only seeing it once or maybe twice. Years ago.

It’s National Lasagna Day, which brings me back to what has to be the best quote in this movie, “Hasta lasagna, don’t get any on ya!” 🇮🇹

So glad you guys watched this. Can't wait for the rest of the series at some point.

Also have a soft spot for it as it’s the last movie I saw with my grandpa.

I have a soft spot for MI2 with its soundtrack and young Thandiwe Newton, who was stunning in this movie.

I think, with the exception of MI2, they just get better and better, especially with the insane stunts and really cool cast.

Mission: Impossible is an American espionage television series that aired on CBS from September 1966 to March 1973. It was revived in 1988 for two seasons on ABC. It also inspired the series of theatrical motion pictures starring Tom Cruise beginning in 1996.

Emilio Estevez Said in an interview, that Tom Cruise regrets killing him off in ‘Mission: Impossible’. "He and John Woo were trying to figure out a way to bring me back for Part Two," Estevez said, "but it just didn’t make sense." 🤣 No shit, he had the spikes through his head!
