I'm just watching now and I thought off the bat that he was so sad over the death of the older woman.

In a lot of ways what struck me was how he was letting his grief show for her but not Chuck. He has a lot going on under the surface. He’s not just cold hearted. I think he meant well a lot but got burned so much he became numb. I’m not justifying his behavior but I think he’s much more than just a one-dimensional character.

2020-01-12 18:49:02 +0000 UTCHappy to see this season isn't only Gus/Nacho/Mike show, although there has been some great moments, Jimmy as Well, but now Jimmy is going to show his full potential. Weakest storyline is wexler's imo, but I think Kim's story involving slowly to getting a point where it cross over to Jimmy: Dark clouds are coming.... Cut Jimmy some slack dude, it was a sad moment for Jimmy when Kim told him at their old hang out place that she was joining the other firm..as if she was breaking up with him over the moscow mule guy. And yes OBVIOUSLY Jimmy did get emotional over the death of his former client. I absolutely enjoyed watching Jimmy's discussion to Howard: "Fu-- you Jimmy" "There you go. Use that" Love to see good old cunning Saul when he takes his revenge! How some ppl continue to underestimate Jimmy boggles my mind.

It's been his dream to be partners with her since his initial idea to become a lawyer, and now it's collapsing. Plus it's important to note that Kim lied to Jimmy. She wasn't offered the job out of the blue, she brought Mesa Verde to them and set this up. It's a similar situation to when Chuck used Howard and the board as an excuse to not hire Jimmy instead of just being honest with him. Of course instead of really processing his feelings and working through them he continues to do what he's done this season and double down on his slippin' side, which is all on him. But it does suck seeing it happen.
