2020-04-15 01:38:45 +0000 UTCKim just signed Nacho's death certificate. She said to Lalo that he does not trust anyone on the US side of his operation and she's right. "Where to?" asked Nacho twice this episode. Instead of asking, "How's the boss, Hector Salamanca?" Or, "What happened? How's the lawyer?" or something similar to show that he cares about Lalo's or Hector's businesses. Nacho wanted to leave Lalo out in the desert to wait for the twins to pick him up, that's hella cold. Lalo definitely noticed this. Nacho does not like any of the Salamancas and it shows. Kim going off on Lalo like that, that bought some time for them to do something, whatever it may be. Whether they use the disappearer (Mike probably knows him), or whether Kim goes back to her hometown. As far as Lalo knows, he knows her as "Kim Goodman," not her actual name, so there is a chance she could walk away. Maybe.

2020-04-14 18:11:18 +0000 UTCwhat amazes me is that, almost certainly, when those lines were written in Breaking Bad they were just written as 'something to say to imply that he's been involved with big/bad people in the past' and there was no actual story there, that essentially the entire of Better Call Saul has been crafted to this level of amazingness from the seed of a line of dialogue that was never intended to 'mean' anything. That if Peter Gould written a different line there, the entire of Better Call Saul would either have been dramatically different or not existed at all. It blows my mind. Nacho and Lalo, two amazing characters, were born out of something that probably was added without that much forethought and now seems to be the core endgame of the entire show.

2020-04-14 17:54:06 +0000 UTCAfter seeing the little interrogation scene at the end of the episode, I am just mind blown at how intense it’s all all gotten. Obviously the story isn’t over yet and we still don’t know what happens in the finale or even what else happens in the final season but now, that throw away line by Saul about “did Lalo send you?/it was me, it was Ignacio!” has soooo much more meaning and weight to it now. Again, MIND BLOWN!!!

2020-04-14 14:29:54 +0000 UTCthis show constantly surpasses my expectations - to think anyone thought this was boring compared to BB, I feel bad for them giving up on it so early on.
