It's actually zinc Homelander can't see through, not lead. Lead is (as far as I recall) Superman's weakness for xray vision.

Stillwell, she really has been his female figure... she knows his emotional, psychological level is N0T that of the 30-something man he is. He's a kid in many ways. She manipulates him, using all those pieces. Mother. Sexuality. Guide. Boss. Authority. He looks to her f0r every move he makes, and it's because 0f his history... it's complex, that' why I really like his character, when the layers start to get pulled back.

2020-06-03 05:14:26 +0000 UTCI feel it makes his back story one of the saddest, the other supes may have had messed up childhood's, but he didn't have a childhood. He becoming a monster was not a choice he made at some point. Where the other supes choose to do bad shit, he was made that way.

He was raised as a science experiment in a lab, he never knew his parents. He was raised as a labrat. Never getting basic things like nursing on a mother or any real human contact as a child.

But it did leave a lot of suspicious things for the near future. Homelander continues to make us nervous. Now that we know what kind of dirt bag he is, every time he looks at somebody or something in a certain way we wonder what will happen. Great reactions and all I can say is, bring on episode 7.
